One of my favorite places in the world is in the Caribbean-- The Royal Plantation hotel in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. It is an absolute treat to visit! The highlights are the beautiful plantation-style home, the delicious food at the hotel's restaurants, the crystal clear water and soft sand, and the mangosas, fruit, and rosewater sprays on the beach in the morning! If you venture off the resort, make time to hike up Dunns River Falls--how many times will you climb a waterfall after all? Also, Evita's Jamaican-Italian fusion restaurant is rated #1 by TripAdvisor and deservedly so--delicious!
