Travel Tips--World's Scariest Runways

If you're heading to any of these destinations (including Reagan National in D.C. or JFK in NYC), make sure to pack the dramamine! And maybe close your eyes! Yikes!

Also, remind me to always go to St. Maarten by cruise ship and not airplane, for reasons demonstrated by the photo below:

Also remind me not to stay at the hotel associated with this beach. I don't care to see the faces of airline passengers from my beach chair.

Cruise Sites-- VacationsToGo.com, CruisesOnly.com

Who doesn't love to take a cruise? And deals abound for affordable vacations to just about anywhere! Here's a few sites, and I hope to keep adding as I find more! Bon Voyage!

And a cruise tip as well-- make sure to look into the cruise line and the specific cruise ship you would be sailing on. Not all cruises are created equally, and not all ships within a cruise line's fleet are comparable. Of course, a deal isn't a deal if you're miserable! AAA is not even allowed to sell cruises on certain lines, unless demanded by customers. (I won't list the lines here, but call AAA for information). Generally, Regent Seven Seas and Crystal are the luxury, top of the line cruises, and they come with a top of the line price tag! The main lines on the next tier are Princess, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, and Holland America, with each of these focusing on slightly different areas, depending on whether you have an active family that wants tons to do onboard (think ice skating, rock walls, zip lines, etc.) or are a retired couple looking to relax and enjoy. Other reputable but lesser-known lines specialize in river cruises, small ships, international clientele, etc. But just make sure you know what you want and what you're getting before picking your dream cruise vacation! Here is one link that generally describes the different cruise lines:
